About the game
He smiles. He hops. He stomps. The Hoptimist is a bunny who is sure that every pit can be jumped and every dragon can be beaten. You run, jump, stomp and dash through eight hand-built levels in seven worlds: from a sunny meadow, through the jungle, the coast and a sky tower, to a dark forest and a frozen peak. At the end, the dragon waits in its lava cave.
A rainbow ribbon trails the bunny on every jump and dash. The rainbow carrot is a power-up: for a while the bunny shoots comets. At the start you pick one of six bunnies, and every level has cherries and three hidden gems. The controls forgive you: hold jump to jump higher, and a late jump still counts.
The game plays in the browser, on your phone and on your computer, in English and Polish. An iPhone version is coming to the App Store soon.
How to play
- On a phone: turn the phone to landscape. The left buttons move, the right ones dash and jump; a shoot button appears while you hold a rainbow carrot.
- On a computer: arrows or A / D move, Space / W / Up jump, X / Shift / C dash, F / V / J shoot, Esc pauses, M mutes.
Add it to your home screen
